Six Week Courses
If you want to learn more about the process of making ceramics, join a course. We will teach you how to make functional ceramics by hand or on a wheel, glaze and create a collection of pieces for you to take home. It’s important that you can attend all six classes, we do offer a make-up class on a Monday night for an additional $65 if required.
Wheel Throwing
We offer a wheel throwing course that is suitable for beginners or as a next step if you have completed a course and are keen to learn more and be guided by a teacher. We have two options; 2 hour or 2.5 hour sessions over six weeks. Our courses are up to six customers and we are hands-on!
2 hour sessions - we cover centering clay, making cylinders for cups, using a batt to make small plates and bowls, trimming and carving your work, adding handles and glazing with brush on and dipping glazes.
2.5 hour sessions - we cover centering clay, making taller cylinders, using a batt to make larger plates and bowls, making a lidded vessel, trimming and carving your work and glazing with brush on and dipping glazes.
We offer all course customers a complimentary 2 hour session to complete any glazing on bisque work that wasn't fired by week six.

Hand Building
In this course, you will learn various techniques such as coiling, slabs and pinch pots to create your own beautiful and functional ceramics.
Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, our small class size of six ensures personalised attention and guidance throughout the course.During the workshop, you will create stunning sculptural pieces and practical ceramic serving ware, to use around the home.
We offer all course customers a complimentary 2 hour session to complete any glazing on bisque work that wasn't fired by week six.
