Studio Membership at Klaypots Makers Space
If you're a self-sufficient potter*—whether you're into wheel throwing or hand-building—our monthly membership might be just your thing. For $200 a month, you’ll get unlimited studio access, 7 days a week, from 8am to 10pm. Located a short walk from our main studio in a secure building.
You can purchase clay from our main studio, and we’ll set you up with containers to keep your pieces safe. You’ll also have your own shelving space to store work between visits. We offer bisque, mid-fire, and stoneware firings at competitive rates per kilo, and if you need external firing (like reduction or full kiln loads), we can point you in the right direction.
Our new makers space is kitted out with six brand-new pottery wheels, a big wedging bench, a communal hand-building table, and plenty of shelf space. We’ve also got tea from Mayde Tea, and a fridge if you want to bring snacks or drinks for your session.
A selection stoneware dipping and brush-on glazes are included, aprons, and tools free of charge—just bring your ideas and good vibes.
*Self-sufficient means you've completed a course—here or at another studio—and you're confident with the full process from start to finish. If you've learned elsewhere, we’ll just ask for a bit of proof so we can make sure you're all set to work solo.
